My Dress

This is going to be a slightly strange post. The intention is to share a dress I fell in love with, with you.

Now....you need to understand that I'm not big on clothes - don't spend a fortune on them - tend to live in jeans (unless the occassion calls for clothes which are smarter, sexier, etc). So bearing that in mind, you can imagine my surprise when I came across this dress, and thought "I want it". Don't know where or when I'd ever wear it - it's not exactly day wear is it!!?? But I just love it and really hope one day I will have the occassion to wear it.

You need to find an occassion to wear it!! It looks fab!! It may not be day wear, but it's definitely YOU!

that's from someone who's also not into dresses and was taken on one side by younger sister to be lectured on dress sense on more than one occasion.

My clothes sense was definately a disappointment to my mother. She always said she wanted to dress me like a little doll and what she got was a stubborn daughter who wore what she wanted and they tended to be the same things over and over again!

My sister does have excellent clothes sense, but it's just not stuff I want to wear! We've both rebelled against the maternal quite bizarre dress sense all our lives, just very differently!

I live in jeans too, and I don't think I've bought anything new for a year. If I could find dresses like yours no doubt I'd buy it :)

It is rather beautiful - thank you. Fantasy wear rather than "normal" which is probably why I fell for it!

Ah.......fantasy wear.........that's entirely different lol.

Personally corsets are my chosen fantasy wear.

I see that your dress has a corset element to it :)

Went to a Mystic Arts show a couple of weekends ago and found it at one of the stands. Once I found out it fitted, that was it, had to buy it.
