Sounds of Summer

Don't know what the weather is like in your part of the world, but today, in the wilds of Kent, it has been dry and even sunny! I mowed the lawn wearing just a t-shirt and also managed to clear 1 of the flower beds. Whilst outside, I could hear, not only the birds, but the sound of lawn mowers and voices as my neighbours took advantage of the glorious weather as well.

It was wonderful to be outside and enjoying the weather. I do love both autumn and winter as seasons, but I am now ready for summer! :)

Don't I wish! In wonderful Alberta we have had a freak storm for a few days so today I will be shovelling the sidewalks.

Well it was only 2 weeks ago that we had snow! The weather is a little crazy at the moment.

Well it's been warm and still in Cornwall but now the rain has begun to fall which is good news for the plants that I have recently potted up.

The snow is almost gone. Sat with Barney by the pond for the first time this year today and watched a pair of ducks, while I listened to the redwing black birds. ground is still frozen so there is no gardening to do yet. Soon I hope.

It is a wonderful time. It was so nice to be wearing a t-shirt outdoors and enjoying the warmth from the sun.

I am in Kent too and likewise I also managed to coiffure the lawn and a hedge trim! The dog lazed on the patio in the sun shine whilst I manovered the patio table/chairs ready in anticipation for summer. Indeed a glorious day and then today well........
English weather : The same as yesterday but a bit different!!!!

Been a rather strange week. I worked from home today and although it rained this morning, late afternoon has been gorgeous!
