It's Snowing!!!!

Sitting on the bed, looking out the window and little flurries of white are falling from the sky! :D They don't look big enough to settle - don't think it's cold enough either, but it's snow and I am happy!

I guess having been brought up in the warm climate of South Africa, snow is still a novelty for me. It definately brings out the kid in me and I can't wait to wrap up warm and get outside. I love walking outside when it snows. Mad, I know, but who cares!!!!

as a child i always liked the look of snow (especially at easter when we often went north to the yorkshire moors) but i hated (and still hate) walking in it. my feet just freeze then hurt.. even now when i can afford shoes! but enjoy the white stuff and have a lovely weekend

It's now just raining and plain cold. Any hint of snow has disappeared... but I enjoyed the brief moment whilst it lasted.

If it's any consolation, the snow flakes have long stopped and now it's just raining! :( Did manage to get out and enjoy a walk catching the snowflakes as they fell.
(By the way, has it ever snowed in your part of the world??)

it's very rare.
we had one pathetic snow flurry not long ago, but the whitest we get here is if there is a heavy frost.
(and that's unusual too!)

this must explain why i love going skiing once a year!

It's been tring to snow here since Good Friday. Last night some snow settled but was gone by this morning. Still, we live in hopes, eh? :)
