Like Uksider, I do like looking at rocks and their formations. It is amazing what you can see - it's like looking at cloud formations and spotting sheep, wizard, etc...
So, thought I'd share a few photo's I took over the summer. Hope you like....
I've discovered that I often visit the state of confusion, and I know my way around pretty well......

wonderful shapes! have you ever been to brimham rocks (i think thats the name) on the yorkshire moors? weird rock formations that you can run around, clamber over and some you need ropes to climb - brilliant place i remember from childhood. nice tea shop too

It was shortly after taking the photo of the rocks with quartz lines running through that I fell backwards into a large rockpool. I was soaked but luckily my camera survived. That's what happens when you concentrate more on what's in the pools rather than where you're putting your feet!
now you should have posted that picture..
These are fantastic! Rocks rock and so do your photos. Thanks for sharing them.
Oh I love the middle one
in fact all of them are showing you have a great eye -has given me some inspiration for artwork -beautiful
